CodexGauge 1.1.0: Faster updates and a more flexible menu bar

CodexGauge 1.1.0 is now available, with faster local task updates and a more flexible menu-bar display.

Live tasks now update near real time, including during larger bursts of activity. Token rates use a time-weighted window that decays naturally during tool use and other pauses, which makes the number easier to follow without implying that new tokens are being used. The Dashboard graph has also been updated with calmer numeric transitions and continuous, noninteractive motion.

The menu bar can now be configured around the information that matters most. Choose the primary allowance, add an optional comparison value, show reset timing, and include a suggested pace as either percentage points available per day or hour or a remaining target for the current allowance day or hour. Optional semantic colors can keep normal values monochrome, highlight warnings, or provide a full traffic-light view.

This release also improves Activity chart geometry and range selection, makes Today summaries better match the selected range, and tightens the Settings experience. Dependent controls are clearer, invalid color combinations are repaired automatically, genuine warnings are explained at the top of the popover, and the status symbol fits the native menu bar more consistently.

Manual allowance refresh controls have been removed. Allowance checks and connection recovery now happen automatically, while local task activity continues independently. The public release bundle is simpler too: GitHub now provides the signed and notarized disk image alongside its SHA-256 checksum.

CodexGauge 1.1.0 keeps the same requirements as the first release: an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 14.4 or later, with ChatGPT or Codex installed and signed in.
