CodexGauge 1.1.1: Midnight stability fix
CodexGauge 1.1.1 is a focused stability release that fixes an overnight crash that could occur around midnight.
The crash was caused by macOS delivering its calendar-day notification on a background queue while CodexGauge was updating the menu bar. Version 1.1.1 routes calendar-day, clock, time-zone, and wake notifications safely through the main actor before changing menu-bar state, preventing the Swift concurrency violation that could terminate the app.
This release does not change CodexGauge’s features, telemetry scope, or privacy behavior. It adds regression coverage for background-queue notification delivery, and the signed and notarized release candidate remained running through the overnight midnight boundary before the release was promoted.
CodexGauge 1.1.1 supports Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14.4 or later and requires ChatGPT or Codex to be installed and signed in.
